If you don't want to go far from the hotel, try Amethyst Restaurant, which is 400 ft away. We will be returning here soon when visiting Istanbul.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, with directions etc. I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast had good variety, sea views from the rooftop was my favorite. Location good too although you have to figure out the best way to reach the nearest stations/travel spots.
Yeah, it's strange although the room and wc were very clean, there was this strange smell in the toilet. I used my deo spray, perfume and all that, so maybe they could do something about it

The room, we got a double w/extra bed and was really spacious (perhaps we got a triple). They have nice furniture and decoration in the room/flooring. Bathroom was also renewed and comfortable. The elevators are also spacios and modern. The view during breackfast is stunning
The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner (grime on the shower edges). The area is very busy/crowded as its near G. Bazar and serves as a trading hub which can make it a bit uncomfortable as a pedestrian w/young children. Yet the location is quite convenient for accessing Istambul's Tram system (only 4 blocks away Aksaray station)

The hotel has a good location. It is within 5 minutes of a tram station which takes you to the main attraction points in Istanbul. The hotel has some nice rooms and a good view over the bay from the restaurant at the 7th floor.
When we arrived the receptionist got our passports and we didn't get them back until we left although we asked serveral times. Although the site mentioned that the parking in front of the hotel was free, the guy from the reception asked us to pay 10euros/day and wanted us to live the key to the car to the reception as well which I declined to do. First we were given a room in the hotel extention. It seemed very old and in a very bad shape. After the first day we complained and the staff promissed to solve the problem the next day cause at that moment they can not do anything. We return the next morning and theygave us another room in the main building which looked much better (it looked like a propper 3 star room).

We loved how close this hotel was to all the major historic sights. It was just a short walk or tram ride away from attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. The hotel's location near the Aksaray metro and tram stops made transportation incredibly easy. Furthermore, the hotel staff was accommodating and allowed us to check in early. The breakfast served at the hotel was also fantastic, offering a good mix of hot and cold foods. We especially enjoyed dining on the rooftop terrace with its fantastic view.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

very friendly staff even though we had some dificulties explaining to some staff members at the reception in english (they only spoke turkish) but it was great. comfortable. and clean. Breakfast was not back but the view was nice from the terrace.
the bed sheets were not changed daily. it was only tidying up the bed. not changing the sheet itself.
